Tracing Public Spaces

It's our flag program: the methodology we use to carry it out has been designed in the MIT by us, it has won international recognition and we want to bring it to more communities day by day.

The goal of the program focuses on transforming young people from a community and, at the same time, a public space of their choice. To achieve it, for 5 months the participants receive lessons where they acquire the tools needed to observe, imagine and transform public spaces. This program is aimed at children, between ten and fourteen years old, and it works as a complementary activity to the education they receive in their schools.

Throughout the workshop, the students acquire the following skills: mapping their community, creating photographic compositions, presenting ideas to an audience, building models using real proportions, and learning construction techniques using recycled materials, among many other tools. The transformed spaces have between 100 and 300 square meter. Referential video: https://vimeo.com/262136493
